Back Cover- A motivation to sustain with.

I was intrigued by the back cover picture and the selected quote.

The back cover print of the book ' The Victim is always the same ' presents a metaphorical and reflective take on the themes of the book. there is a calmth in its motionless greenery dominated by the large trunk of a tree occupying the centre space. The dominant image is an abstract representation that evokes a sense of nature and resilience. It appears to be a vertical form, perhaps suggesting a figure or a pathway, flanked by textured, organic shapes in shades of green and brown. The central part has a lighter tone, possibly representing a source of light or a clearing. The overall impression is one of growth emerging from a somewhat rugged or challenging environment. It doesn't directly depict a medical scene but leans towards symbolic representation.
Below the image is a quote attributed to the Preface of the book. It reads:
"I should have wished to write a poem had I been able, for perhaps in poetry one could compress the strength, maturity, courage, loneliness, torment, despair, effort, faith, humanity of these children. In their condition is the distillate of human authenticity. In spite of the condition inflicted upon them, they remain loyal to life and to themselves."

 Connection to the Book's Themes
The quote provides a powerful insight into the author's perspective on the children with dystonia musculorum deformans. It emphasizes their inner strength, courage, and unwavering spirit despite their immense suffering. The abstract, organic imagery above could be interpreted as a visual metaphor for this resilience – life and strength persisting even in difficult circumstances. The lighter central area might symbolize hope or the enduring essence of their being.
The back cover print shifts the focus from the clinical aspect presented on the front to the profound human qualities of the children. It evokes empathy and admiration for their spirit, highlighting the emotional and philosophical dimensions of their experience. The combination of the evocative imagery and the deeply reflective quote creates a powerful and moving impression, surpassing the limitations of words, suggesting the inner world and resilience of its subjects.
