J'ai trouvé ce livre dans ma bibliothèque négligée, protégé du temps et de la poussière par quelques autres ouvrages. Je ne me souviens pas quand je suis entré en possession de ce livre car, assurément, je ne l'ai pas acheté. C'est au mieux un livre d'occasion car il porte le gribouillis : "Meghshyam Ajgaonkar, Mani Bhavan Gandhi Sangrahalaya, Laburnum Road, Bombay, 400007". Enfant, j'ai vécu dans la zone du code postal 400008. La proximité de la transhumance reste inexpliquée. This is a chapter review from the book 'The Emperor's New Mind'. I bought this in the year  2014 and may have attempted many times to finish the book in one go. The content invariably turns awkward and dense in nature. I kept it away many times only to come back time and again. It is a challenging but incredible rewarding read.  In Roger Penrose's The Emperor's New Mind, the chapter "The Land of Tor Bled Nam"  serves as a crucial turning point, where the author ties together the diverse scientific and mathematical concepts explored throughout the book to directly address his central thesis- human consciousness cannot be fully explained by conventional computational algorithms, and therefore, strong AI is fundamentally limited. I was able to read a couple of stories from this book at my sister's home at Montreux. Thank you  Mrs Dyuti Daeppen. It is a single book compilation of all the eight books. It is an easy read with comfortable spacing of sentences. The book is published by hHarper collins in 1994 and again in 2008. However the book was first published in shorter versions in 1934 in Great Britain by Peter Davis. Not to forget are the small and very representative illustrations which are few but very interesting. The Mary Poppins stories, originating in P.L. Travers' eight-book series, center on the titular magical nanny who arrives at the Banks family's home at 17 Cherry Tree Lane, London. This is a book I found on the shelves of my sister at Montreux. I checked on the other books by Shashank Lele but couldn't find any.  The book title is a common one and the cover page attracted me to proceed reading. It is published by Chhandita Prakasani, Calcutta  in the year 1999. The geography shifts from Shantiniketan to kyoto, and discribes the life of Risako, a Japanese woman who is married to the protagonist observing the existential realty of a life which is surrounded by events and characters very similar to themselves. This compels them to reflect on to there own contradictions which the author extends to the crisis of a section of the society as himself. He analyses candidly about personal events and sexual relationships with their pretentions , projection it as an important and obsessive compulsion among many people engaged with humanities. Found this book on the shelves of my aunt at her home in Mountreux. They carry many memories of her past and remain witness to the efforts at preservation of identity. The book is an English translation of Rabindranath Tagore 's work Rakthakarabi - Red Oleanders'. It should be classified as a work in dialectical materialism. However as we read this book we can find a poetic shift towards secular humanism emphasizing reason and naturalism. The metaphor of the red olenader in particur is very typical of some of Gurji's typical book. I was able to take opinion of my aunt who had read the bengali versions and mere faint memories remain. She felt  reminiscence of her tagorian youth and went on to remember many trivialities of life as is expected of all person in the routine of years. It was all good in the morning of this day to wonder from a distant land,  the residue of creativity that percolated the social mind in many ways.
